Save Energy Coalition

Strong public policy will help lower consumers’ energy costs and create new green jobs in every county in the U.S. We know the potential for a clean energy economy – we work in it every day. Your elected officials need to know that you support clean energy and climate legislation. Here is an easy way to learn more.



This coalition formed in 2008 to make sustainable energy a top legislative priority. Thier first campaign sought to make efficiency a centerpiece of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). With thier help, funding was secured for low-income home weatherization, state energy initiatives and energy efficiency/conservation investments.


Following the success with ARRA, their focus turned to the climate and energy legislation currently under consideration on Capitol Hill. With successful passage of the American Clean Energy and Security Act in the House, They are  looking to the Senate to likewise pass landmark legislation to secure a clean energy future.
